Clayton Dog Off-leash Park opens

Clayton Dog Off-leash Park opens

Dog lovers are delighted with the news that the long-awaited Clayton Dog-Off-leash Park at 7811-188 Street will officially open on Saturday July 11.

This $450,000 park is East Clayton’s first dog off-leash park and includes two separate play places for large and small dogs.

Based on approximately two hectares, the park includes a large forested area, two separate grass areas with asphalt paths and natural play features, and two dog wash stations.

Mayor Dianne Watts and Parks and Community Service Committee representatives will be on hand for the ribbon-cutting honours.

This is a free family-style event with live music and entertainment which takes place from 11am-2pm regardless of outdoor weather conditions. There is plenty of free parking.
