East Clayton School Park Site

This park is to be built in conjunction with a new elementary school at 190^th Street and 70^th Avenue. 

It is approximately 3.5 hectares in size and is the largest of the parks proposed for the newly developed neighbourhood of East Clayton. The other parks in East Clayton provide a variety of passive park spaces with benches, shrub beds and lawn areas. The School Park will provide park facilities for active recreation.  The proposed uses for the park are:  playing fields, a walking path, a sports box for basketball, a water park and a playground designed for toddlers.  Property acquisitions and planning for East Clayton School Park is in progress and a series of open houses will be held to obtain community input before the design of the park is finalized.
